Are you a hot chocolate or latte fan? Perhaps you enjoy herbal teas or a warming tumeric or matcha latte. My personal favourites are a delicious chai made with fresh herbs and spices, or a lovely ginger and cinnamon style tea. Today I want to share with you how your daily beverage choices can play a big role in your health and wellness over the winter months, along with some special brews that you can purchase to boost your immunity, energy and delight in the hot drink ritual.
Hot drinks are a big part of our culture, indeed most of us indulge in a hot cup of tea or coffee several times each day. Whilst I am one to thoroughly enjoy my daily coffee, I know that if I have any more than 1 a day I wind up stressed, tired and not getting any benefit from it. If you are one to buy your coffee out at a cafe it also comes with a full cup of milk, which adds calories to your day and stress on your digestive system. So instead of doing this I've been choosing some beautiful blends that have wonderful healing herbs and ingredients that support my energy, immunity and overall wellbeing. If you like the sound of any of the below blends, you can purchase them via my online dispensary. Ovvio organics No.24 Cinnamon ginger soul Ovvio organic teas are healing blends with therapeutic effects, not your run of the mill herbal tea at all. This tea is made with real cinnamon and ginger pieces, and makes a deliciously warming, sweet and nourishing cuppa any time of the day. It's wonderful for any type of inflammation and pain, or just to warm up your soul in winter. I really love this blend. Ovvio Organics No.30 C citrus Strength This herbal tea has been designed to strengthen both your immunity and your mind, and has the following delicious ingredients: Rosehip, orange, licorice root, elderberry, elderflower, blackcurrant. I love to mix it with the Cinnamon ginger soul tea for a really satisfying, warming and strength infusing drink. Cacao Bliss Chocolate drink by Morlife This gorgeous blend contains functional ingredients such as cacao, maca, siberian ginseng and lemon balm, which make it a wonderful relaxing and nervous system supporting brew. Chocolatey, warming and delicious. If you are a hot chocolate fan, try this blend for a nutrient rich hot choccie with a difference. Morlife Tumeric Latte, spiced vanilla This warming cup of joy has tumeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper and vanilla. It is a really warming blend, perfect for infusing antioxidants and anti.inflammatory nutrients into your cells in the cold months. If you feel cold all the time in winter, or experience any joints pains or inflammation, this is a perfect cuppa for you to try. There are loads more, but these are some of my favourites. Tell me, what are your favourite winter warming drinks? Love Ally
